Yorkshire 3 Peaks

20 1 Place Available

Force Horizon are heading to Yorkshire to complete the 3 Peaks! We would love to have you along for the ride too! Transport to and from, 2 nights in a beautiful barn conversion and a AXEMAN BBQ to top it all of!

We bought a boat!…kind of

We recently took a trip down to Rannoch Adventure Ltd to have a look at some of the epic work Charlie Pitcher and the team do.

Charlie welcomed us on our arrival and offered us a beer, it was 0900. I like this guy already. We then spent the next 4 hours being shown around the workshops and meeting the team that create such fantastic boats! It was amazing to see how they are put together and the differences between fibre glass and carbon.

We eventually got down to the business of “how do we buy one of those magnificent sea chariots?” There are plenty of different ancillaries and extra’s you can add on and obviously we would love to have all the best kit but champagne taste doesn’t align with our lemonade budget! So some compromise was made between myself and Chris eventually agreeing that an R25 was the perfect “sea chariot” for us! Build slot secured, we smiled all the way back to sunny Lincolnshire looking forward to April when the build begins!

Big thanks to Rannoch for having us, we had a great day!

Back to school!

We went back to where it all began!

We were invited by the Jon Egging Trust to visit our old school, St. Georges Academy, where me and Chris first met 20+ years ago.

We were asked to take part in the charities “My Why” project, talking about the challenges we both faced growing up and how it affected life at school. The footage will make up part of a film that will be shown at Kensington Palace in October 23!

We are both not naturals in front of the camera but we hope our message got across and can be used to help young people in similar situations.

The day definitely reaffirmed our motivation and purpose for doing the row and also the drive to really do all we can to support the Jon Egging Trust and the young people it helps.

We were supported by the fantastic Fi and Lottie from JET who made the whole occasion much less daunting! and as always our super star media genie, L-Dog!
