Rowers from all walks of life undertake the unsupported 3000-mile crossing, to a global audience of millions.

With waves regularly exceeding 40ft, the ocean is an uncompromising and unapologetic equaliser. The journey from La Gomera to Antigua will require us to contend with severe sleep deprivation, hallucinations and isolation for the duration of the crossing. Putting aside the mental demands of this monumental challenge, the row requires the completion of over 1.5 MILLION oar strokes and see's competitors losing an average of 15kg despite consuming over 6,000 calories per day!
Battling Atlantic storms, navigating shark infested waters and traversing international shipping lanes will become part of daily business, all in the 20ft x 5ft ocean rowing boat that we’ll be calling home - In the name of inspiring through adventure and raising vital funds for charity.

Since the very first ocean row in 1896, there have been 938 attempts made to row an ocean. 282 of which have been unsuccessful.
