THE GOAL

Rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean to inspire young people to fulfil their potential through self-belief and resilience.

"We, along with JET, believe every young person, no matter their starting point, should leave school armed with the confidence, resilience and self belief to succeed".

THE CHALLENGE

Team Force Horizon will be pushing their body, mind and soul to the absolute limits in one of the worlds hardest physical endurance challenges. The “Worlds Toughest Row” spans 3000 miles from La Gomera to Antigua and can take up to 50 days to complete. A gruelling routine of 2 hours on 2 hours off, burning up to 6,000 calories a day and operating in the unforgiving Atlantic environment, are just a few of the tests they will face.

THE CAUSE

Changing young lives

The Jon Egging Trust  (JET) supports vulnerable young people to get back on track and realise their potential.  JET is an early intervention charity, stepping in to support youngsters aged 7-16 whose life- challenges and low self-esteem puts them at  heightened  risk  of  dropping out of education.

JET's unique, long-term Blue Skies programmes empower students to develop vital workplace competencies including teamwork, leadership, communication and resilience.
